HULL & MACHINERY

We cover loss and damages to the insured yacht (hull, machinery, equipment, fittings, accessories and decoration, tenders, personal effects, fine arts, etc.) during navigation or lay-up period.

WAR RISKS

We can provide cover to include damages and losses caused by war, civil war or warlike events as well as caused by strikes, lockouts, political or civil disturbances, riots, malicious acts or vandalism.

LOSS OF HIRE

This cover enables the assured to recover their loss of income as a result of the yacht being unable to operate due to damage or being prevented from trading due to a blockage of the port.

YACHT IN TRANSIT AS CARGO

All risks physical loss or damages cover including pre and post shipment services, loading and unloading operations, salvage, contribution to general average, wreck removal costs and War & Strikes.

PROTECTION & INDEMNITY

Also known as P&I it covers liabilities against the owner or operator of the Yacht for collision and damages to third parties including crew and guests, wreck removal and related costs, pollution and environmental liabilities.

DEFENCE LEGAL COSTS

Legal costs and expenses reasonably incurred on the occurrence of an event or matter liable to give rise to a claim, in avoiding or seeking to avoid or minimize any liability or expenditure or loss.

MEDICAL COVER FOR CREW

Whether at sea or in port we can provide 24/7 coverage for illness and accidents to crew members and captains (not necessarily happened onboard and not work related) for medical expenses, repatriation, etc.

BUILDER’S RISKS

We provide coverage to shipyards for the various perils faced during the construction or conversion of yachts from the beginning of construction through the final delivery including sea trials, third party liability during construction and removal of wreck.
